1. Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on device, browser, payment-provider eligibility, and checkout availability, Avitance accepts the following payment methods:

Credit and Debit Cards

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Diners Club
  • Elo
  • JCB
  • UnionPay

Eligible debit cards carrying a supported card-network logo may also be accepted.

Digital Wallets and Express Checkout

  • Shop Pay
  • PayPal
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Venmo

The payment options actually displayed during checkout are the payment methods currently available for that specific transaction.

2. Venmo Payments

Venmo may be available to eligible customers through PayPal's supported checkout experience.

Venmo availability may depend on factors controlled by the payment provider, including:

  • Customer eligibility;
  • Device or browser;
  • PayPal or Venmo account configuration;
  • Checkout configuration; and
  • Payment-provider availability.

If Venmo is available for a transaction, it will be presented as an available payment option through the applicable PayPal/Venmo checkout experience.

If Venmo is not displayed during checkout, it is not available for that particular transaction.

3. Payment Currency

All prices and charges on avitance.com are presented in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise clearly stated.

Before completing payment, customers can review:

  • Product price;
  • Product quantity;
  • Applicable discounts;
  • Shipping charge;
  • Applicable sales tax; and
  • Final order total.

The final amount payable is displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

4. When Payment Is Submitted

Payment information is submitted when the customer completes checkout and places the order.

Depending on the payment method and payment provider, the transaction may first be authorized before being finalized.

Payment authorization does not override Avitance's standard order-review process. Orders remain subject to factors including:

  • Successful payment authorization;
  • Product availability;
  • Shipping-address verification;
  • Fraud-prevention checks; and
  • Other reasonable transaction-verification requirements.

5. Payment Authorization

When an order is submitted, the applicable payment provider or financial institution may authorize the transaction.

Authorization confirms whether the payment method can support the transaction. In some cases, an authorization may temporarily appear as pending on a customer's account.

If payment authorization fails, the order may not be successfully completed.

Customers should ensure that:

  • Payment information is entered correctly;
  • The billing information is accurate;
  • The payment method has sufficient available funds or credit; and
  • Any authentication request from the payment provider is completed.

6. Secure Payment Processing

Avitance uses secure e-commerce checkout and third-party payment-processing technologies to process transactions.

Depending on the selected payment method, payment information may be processed directly by the applicable payment provider.

Avitance does not require customers to send full credit-card numbers, card security codes, or account passwords through customer-support email.

For security reasons, customers should never send sensitive payment credentials to support@avitance.com.

7. Billing Information

Customers are responsible for entering accurate billing and payment information during checkout.

Incorrect information may cause a transaction to be declined or delayed.

Depending on the selected payment method, customers may be asked to provide information such as:

  • Name on card;
  • Card number;
  • Expiration date;
  • Security code;
  • Billing address; or
  • Authentication through the applicable digital-wallet or payment account.

The information required depends on the selected payment provider.

8. Shipping Fee

Avitance charges a flat standard shipping fee of:

$6.99 USD per order

The $6.99 fee applies to the entire order rather than each individual item.

No tax is charged on the $6.99 shipping fee.

The shipping charge is displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

9. Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax on purchased products may be calculated during checkout based on the order and delivery destination where required by law.

Any applicable sales tax will be displayed as part of the order total before the customer submits payment.

Avitance does not charge tax on the standard $6.99 USD shipping fee.

10. No Hidden Payment Charges

Avitance does not intentionally add undisclosed mandatory payment charges after checkout.

Before submitting an order, customers can review the applicable:

  • Product subtotal;
  • Discounts, where applicable;
  • Standard shipping fee;
  • Product sales tax, where applicable; and
  • Final amount payable.

A customer's bank, card issuer, PayPal, Venmo, or another payment provider may separately impose charges under its own agreement with the customer. Such third-party account charges are not imposed by Avitance.

11. Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may be declined or fail for reasons including:

  • Incorrect card information;
  • Incorrect billing information;
  • Insufficient funds or available credit;
  • Expired payment method;
  • Payment-provider restrictions;
  • Bank or card-issuer security controls;
  • Failed authentication; or
  • Fraud-prevention checks.

If payment fails, customers may attempt another payment method displayed during checkout.

Avitance cannot override a payment-provider or financial institution's decision to decline a transaction.

12. Duplicate or Pending Charges

In some cases, a financial institution may display a temporary authorization or pending transaction while payment is being processed.

A pending authorization is not necessarily a duplicate completed charge.

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same completed Avitance order, contact support@avitance.com with your order number and relevant transaction information.

Do not send complete card numbers or security codes by email.

13. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

Orders may be subject to reasonable payment and fraud-prevention checks.

Avitance or its payment providers may review transaction information to help detect:

  • Unauthorized transactions;
  • Fraudulent payment activity;
  • Unusual purchasing activity;
  • Invalid payment information; or
  • Other security risks.

An order may be delayed, declined, or canceled if payment cannot be successfully authorized or if there is a legitimate reason to believe the transaction is unauthorized or fraudulent.

If payment has already been collected for an order subsequently canceled by Avitance, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

14. Order Confirmation

After an order is successfully submitted, customers may receive an order confirmation containing relevant purchase information.

Customers should review their order confirmation and promptly report material errors to:

support@avitance.com

Requests to change or cancel an order are subject to our Order Cancellation & Change Policy.

15. Canceled Orders

If an order is successfully canceled before shipment and payment has already been collected, the applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Avitance does not charge a cancellation fee for an order that can be successfully canceled under our Order Cancellation & Change Policy.

16. Refunds

Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

After an eligible returned product is received and passes inspection, an approved refund is processed within 7 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

For example, if an eligible order was originally paid through PayPal, the approved refund will normally be returned through the original PayPal transaction rather than issued to an unrelated credit card.

17. Refund Posting Time

The 7-business-day refund processing period refers to Avitance's processing period after the eligible returned item is received and passes inspection.

After Avitance issues a refund, the customer's:

  • Bank;
  • Credit or debit card issuer;
  • PayPal;
  • Venmo; or
  • Other applicable payment provider

may require additional time to post or display the refund.

This additional processing time is controlled by the applicable financial institution or payment provider.

18. Return Shipping and Restocking Fees

Approved eligible returns receive free return shipping.

After return approval, Avitance sends a prepaid return shipping label to the customer's email address. The customer downloads and prints the label and follows the provided return instructions.

Avitance charges:

Return shipping for approved eligible returns: $0 USD

Restocking fee: $0 USD

For standard change-of-mind returns, the original $6.99 USD shipping fee is non-refundable.

Complete terms and eligibility requirements are provided in our Return & Refund Policy.

19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an error with an Avitance transaction, you may contact us at support@avitance.com so we can review the order and transaction information.

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising legitimate rights available through their payment provider or applicable law.

Fraudulent or knowingly false payment disputes may be contested using available order, payment, shipping, delivery, and communication records.

20. Payment Information and Privacy

Payment-related information is processed as necessary to:

  • Complete transactions;
  • Verify payments;
  • Prevent fraud;
  • Process cancellations;
  • Issue refunds;
  • Maintain transaction records; and
  • Comply with applicable legal and financial obligations.

Payment providers may independently process personal information according to their own privacy practices.

Additional information about Avitance's collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in our Cookie Policy.

21. Payment Method Availability

Payment-method availability may change depending on:

  • Device;
  • Browser;
  • Customer eligibility;
  • Payment-provider availability;
  • Technical availability; and
  • Checkout configuration.

For this reason, the payment methods displayed during checkout are the definitive payment options available for the transaction.

The presence of a payment logo elsewhere on avitance.com does not guarantee that the payment method will be available for every customer or every transaction.

22. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Payment Methods Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace consumer rights or payment protections that cannot legally be waived or limited.

Where applicable law or an applicable payment provider gives customers additional mandatory rights or remedies, those rights remain available.
